![]() Imprints of Presence Opening: 28 February 2026 at 11:00 - 28 April 2026 Participating: Jason Langa, Chevy Noir and Khumo Ramaila Imprints of Presence - The Fire Station - Jhb
Imprints of Presence explores how human experience, memory and emotion are traced, layered and transformed through paint, print and mixed media.
The exhibition asks how our histories, vulnerabilities and actions leave visible traces and how the human figure carries both personal and collective memory. “Imprints” refers to the marks of life and experience, while “Presence” speaks to the gestures, figures and feelings that inhabit these works, anchoring them in lived reality. This exhibition features three artists, Jason Langa, Chevy Noir and Khumo Ramaila all trained as printmakers at Artists Proof Studio. Their practices share a focus on transformation, but each approaches it through a different tension: between past and present, vulnerability and expectation, memory and impermanence. VENUE:Lizamore & Associates at The Fire Station Address: The Fire Station, 16 Baker Street, Rosebank, Johannesburg Cell: 082 651 4702 Email: teresa@lizamore.co.za Hours: Mondays to Saturdays 07:00 - 19:00
