There is a fascinating interplay between the visual cultures of film and art. Many directors and screenwriters have written or adapted the stories and histories of various artists and artworks into films. Artcoza took a look at upcoming 2015 films on art, artists or the arts. BIG EYES  This drama tells the true story of American artist Margaret Keane (played by Amy Adams), who became famous in the 1960s for her paintings of children as large-eyed waifs. Her husband, Walter (played by Christoph Waltz) took credit for her work. He lived the high life while she toiled in relative anonymity in San Francisco's Bay Area, until Margaret experienced a personal awakening due to the feminist movement and sued for the right to use her own name on her artwork.
