About The Artist
CHRISOULA MELETAKOSBorn: Maputo, Mozambique, 1957. Degree: BA Fine Arts, University of South Africa, 1993. Commissions are welcome. Since the late 1980's, I have explored a diverse and multisensory approach to artmaking. This includes clairvoyant artworks. This need for creative freedom is the outcome of an eclectic body of work. I am essentially an intuitive artist and my preferred medium is oil painting. However, I do work in mixed media. My interest in the environment, indigenous culture and their worldview. The Toltec teachings by Carlos Castaneda. Eastern mysticism and New physics. Healing and the spiritual teachings by Drunvalo Melchizedek. Ancient civilisations and their wisdoms, inform my work. ARTIST CVI have worked as an art consultant, sales representative and facilitator.
