The impact of lockdown in South Africa on me personally was certainly not as profound as on many other people. We all have financial worries of course, but so far we count ourselves to be the lucky ones.We have the luxury of a house and a garden space to move in and as I tend to be reclusive, it is not a big change for me.

My house was designed to be one big studio and the kitchen is where we, my husband and I, take a break from working in our studios. It is the place where we gather around the table to meet with friends over video calls during lockdown, and during normal times we meet here and discuss life as we experience it.
