Featuring the work of fifteen contemporary artists, Terrain presents a nuanced and resonant exploration of land, both as a physical presence and a profound metaphor for body, memory, and identity.

 

This exhibition invites a contemplation of the landscapes we traverse, not solely the external geographies of soil and stone, but also the internal terrains of the body, psyche, and spirit. Framed through a curatorial lens that views land as a mirror to the human condition, Terrain examines how both body and landscape are inscribed with cycles of transformation, erosion, renewal, and resilience. Each is shaped by forces- natural, social, and political- that lie beyond immediate control, yet leave indelible marks.

 

Terrain poses an invitation to consider how our inner and outer worlds reflect and inform one another, and how we inhabit, contest, and reimagine the landscapes- real and symbolic- that define our place in the world.
