Born in 1965 in Bellville, South Africa, Johann Louw lives and works in Cape Town. He earned his Master’s degree in Fine Art from Stellenbosch University in 1992 and has since exhibited extensively both locally and internationally. In 2007, the Sanlam Art Collection honoured Louw’s remarkable career with a mid-career retrospective, celebrating over two decades of artistic achievement.
