Next weekend, Old Johannesburg Warehouse Auctioneers host their first auction for 2020 with just over 1100 lots.
 
On Saturday 25 January the auction starts at 09:00. The usual delightful selection of items comprising: Fantastic furniture (Victorian, Danish, retro, Industrial), wonderful selection of ceramics and silver, rare ZAR coins and notes, Zimbabwean notes, Petronalia and enamel signs, wrought iron pieces, classic toys, model cars and trains (Marklin, Corgi, Dinky) and so much more. An eclectic selection of traditional and contemporary art (100 lots) is mixed into this session too.
 
On Sunday 26 January, 'Treasure hunt Sunday' kicks off at 9:00 with a trove of items that will keep auction goers busy for hours with so much to choose from and keep collectors enthralled.
 
The stand-alone jewellery and watch session begins at 13:00 with a magnitude of glittering lots. Many beautiful Victorian, Art Nouveau, Art Deco, Antique and Modern pieces form this lineup.
 
For the watch collectors: Rolex, Omega, Cartier, Panerai, Tag Heuer and more will encourage furious bidding. Also in this session some vintage designer handbags and sunglasses by the likes of Louis  Vuitton, Gucci, Burberry etc.
 
Viewing for this auction is open to the public on Thursday 23 and Friday 24 January from 08:30 until 16:00. On the weekend it is open from 8:00 until the auction starts at 09:00.
 
Safe, guarded parking is available across the road from the warehouse.
 
Registration for the auction is free.
