 Upcoming Auction | Old Johannesburg WarehouseTHE AFFIE100 FUND ART TIMED ONLINE AUCTION 1 – 13 JUNE 2024 The wonderful gala exhibition of 13 June 2024 runs hand in hand with an online timed auction powered by Old Johannesburg Warehouse Auctioneers' online platform. It will open on 1 June and close during the gala exhibition event on 13 June 2024 at Potgietersaal, Affies at 18:00. Several well-known artists, as well as Affie boys from the art department's works are part of the auction and make up the 166 lots. The Affie100 Trust offered similar events in 2021 and 2023 and plans to make it an annual institution. (During 2023, more than 55 artists participated and presented 104 works.) The main purpose of the auction and art exhibition is to raise funds for the school, the support of Affie boys and disadvantaged communities, and to give the pupils an opportunity offer to learn more about art. Operation of the online auction: • Auction opens online on June 1st at 08:00 in the morning (Saturday, 2 weeks before auction) • Auction closes 13 June at 18:45 (will finish by 19:45; lots close in 30 second intervals) • Can bid on a lot at any time during the two weeks before it starts to end on 13 June at 18:45 For more information visit www.auction.oldjwauctioneers.com |
