An exhibition of recent works by Pretoria based artist Helena Hugo.

Grass people explores our fragile human state and the cycle of life, death and resurrection. The exhibition consists of a series of realistically executed portraits of sugar cane cutters as well as fibre art pieces made from re-appropriated clothes worn by the individuals of whom the portraits have been made.
