Mandy Conidaris is an independent art professional. She was a lecturer at UNISA from 2008 until 2012, in particular contracted to facilitate the senior students’ art writing module. She edits any writing related to the visual arts, and has been a referee for de Arte. She and colleague Emma Willemse have established artwrite, a project that runs courses in art writing and visual literacy.

In addition, since 1990s, Mandy has promoted contemporary South African printmaking, as both a workshop facilitator and a print consultant. She is a co-founder of the newly launched outoftheCUBE, a virtual platform for promoting early career contemporary South African artists. She holds an MA in Fine Arts from Stellenbosch University (2003).
