'How to be a fish' is a collection of works by Neeske Alexander and showcases her wide range of interests and artistic explorations. Work featured includes ink drawings, oil paintings, relief prints and monotypes, watercolour paintings and silkscreen prints.
 
Neeske Alexander’s work follows a multidisciplinary approach involving methods such as drawing from life, scientific illustration and material-based, practice-led techniques. Through printmaking and painting, she explores themes such as the cave, feminism, the absurd, the ocean and public space.
