Art Exhibitions

Three Exhibitions

5 June 2019

Untitled 7.99 | A Group Exhibition
‘Untitled 7.99’ features the work of ten young and emerging South African artists. Representing an assemblage of styles, the featured artists find commonality in their exploration of themselves and their surroundings, both social and physical. As most of the artists are new to the gallery, the show is sure to be an exciting exploration of the subtle, the serious, the personal and the poetic.

Nathan Vuuren | Supermoon
‘Supermoon’ is Vuuren’s first solo exhibition with the gallery. On display will be the artist’s most recent series of paintings which gather source material from all manner of media, popular culture and visual imagery. In his work, Vuuren creates the unexpected out of the ordinary by breaking and building upon original images in order to create post-contemporary pieces imbued with 'charged fragments'. The show will be characterised by a colourful exploration of image construction.

Goddy Roodt | The Light Tank
‘The Light Tank’ is an immersive multisensory work brought to you by interactive designer Goddy Roodt. As a piece that in its core is truly an experience, it transfixes audiences with its playful and purposeful interaction of sound and light. It is one that is not to be missed.
